Summary

It is revealed in Chapter Nineteen: Should God Create Another Eve that the body is actually Justine under a sheet. Elizabeth wonders how Victor could violate her, as she is covered in stitches, but realizes that the monster must have framed Justine to get the body. She almost burns Justine’s body but decides she deserves a proper burial instead. She pushes her down a wheelbarrow to the dock but worries that the monster will use the laboratory against Victor. She intends to burn it, but hears footsteps and knows she cannot face him after what he did to Justine.
