Summary

Chapter 7

Lili continues to see Henrik, which upsets Greta. Lili doesn’t understand why Greta is upset. Greta finally asks her to stop seeing Henrik. Lili knows she can’t, but lies to Greta while seeing Henrik in secret. She starts to feel guilty and wants to tell Henrik the truth about who she is. She never gets to that point, instead simply saying she can’t see Henrik again. Henrik starts to say that he knows Lili's secret and doesn’t care, but Lili runs off anyway.

Chapter 8

Einar and Greta leave to Paris for their annual August vacation. Einar asks if Lili can come on the trip, which Greta agrees with. When Greta and Lili go out for dinner, Greta reveals that she has been able to get in touch with Hans, who wants to meet Lili. Hans has no idea...
