Chapter 197 Summary
Christopher reiterates that he hates to be in a small room with people he doesn’t know, and a train is like a room. He relates an incident from his past when he jumped out of a moving car to get away from some other children his mother was giving a lift home to. He had to get sutures, and it took three months for his hair to grow back like it was before. He is standing very still on the train when he hears someone call his name. It is the police officer who helped him get money from the ATM. The police officer tells him that Christopher’s father is at the police station.
