Chapter 6 Summary
Penny changes her shirt three times because she keeps spilling stuff on it or finds a hole in one. She recalls how she's seen the boy on the beach twice, from her house, and couldn't get down there in time to run into him. In art class at school they are putting together collages of their life. Penny is working on her collage when Miss Beans asks her to take an envelope to the office. When Penny walks in, the boy from the beach comes out. He tells Penny the color Jolly Rancher she picks says a lot about her personality. He goes through what each color represents. When Penny return to class everyone has gone to lunch, but her collage is scattered and wrecked on the floor, with a footprint on it. She finds out the teacher was helping Charity with her...
