London is the capital of England and the main setting for the novel "The Cuckoo's Calling." London is home to Strike, Robin, Matthew, Lula, John, and the other main characters of the novel. It is where Kentigern Gardens and Strike's office are located, as well as numerous night clubs, fashion designer shops, and poorer areas. It is in London that Lula is murdered and Strike solves the mystery of her death.
