Faerieland
Faerieland (more commonly known as Faerie) is the main setting of the novel. Jude explains that is a series of large islands where various courts, including the high court, are spread out over the land. Most humans in faerieland are glamoured to believe they are elsewhere in the human world. Nurses believe they are helping deliver the baby of a noble. Servants believe they are working the best job of their lives for a human boss. The only exception to this (aside from Jude and Taryn) are artisans, who often travel to Faerie of their own volition. Jude tells the reader that most of the fey treat humans well.
