Chapters 42-49 Summary

In Chapter 42, Fiona and her father come to Han and insist that he show them where the arsenal is. They put Han's amulet around his neck, but his hands are chained and he cannot touch the amulet without permission. Han leads them into the tunnels and tries to think of a way to get away, but the Bayars have made every plan Han has difficult to implement. When Han walks past the turnoff to the armory, Gaven Bayar seems to know he is misdirecting them and has Han turn back. Han leads them into a room that is filled with some kind of fog that he does not recall from his previous visit. As they enter, Han hears a noise and moments later Fiona falls from a Demonai arrow. Gaven Bayar kills the Demonai and turns on Han. Han tries to...
