Summary

In Chapter 17, at home that night, Natalie receives another call from a blocked number. She turns on the television just as a news report about Dawn is being aired. The reporter says that police have identified a person of interest. Natalie texts someone, asking if he can come over. The person responds that he will be there in 15 minutes.

In Chapter 18, set five months earlier, Seth emails his wife, Melinda, telling her that he will not be home until late because he is so busy at work.
