Pgs. 314 - 350 Summary
Enid goes to the ship's infirmary to discuss Alfred and finds that the doctor recommends medication for her. They discuss the drug and Enid comes to like the idea of a pill that will help her to relax, sleep better and enjoy the cruise more. She pays one hundred fifty dollars for the infirmary visit and the drug Aslan. She returns to her cabin and swallows a pill.
The next morning when she awakens, she finds Arthur in the bathroom. He'd had a dream in the night and became confused. She helps him dress. At breakfast, the people at their table talk about the stocks they own. Enid learns that Sylvia and Ted have recently dined at The Generator, the restaurant Denise works at. Ted talks about Aslan and calls it grandmother's helper. Enid tells Alfred to lie in the sun...
