Chapter 29 Summary

Harry puts a bubble on the roof and races for Sylvia's. The note threatened to "take his precious blonde" off his hands, and Harry knows Sylvia is in trouble. Edgar radios him, and Harry tells him to send uniforms to her house immediately and then to head to the station to secure the note he left on his desk, and fill Rollenberger and Irving in. Then he radios the surveillance team to pick up Locke if he is at home and bring him in. When Harry gets to Sylvia's, a uniformed officer is standing outside. It appears no one is home, and he asks if he can be released. Bosch send him away and asks Edgar to put a "be on the lookout" for Sylvia and her Cherokee. The surveillance team tells Harry no one is home at Locke's, but they are waiting...
