Summary

The Sympathizer heads to Delights of Asia and is greeted by Grumpy, who implies that he should clean the toilet. However, Le Cao Boi intercepts The Sympathizer and brings him into the kitchen with Bon and the Ronin. Upon seeing Bon, The Sympathizer is reminded of the upcoming performance of Fantasia and Bon’s plot to kill Man. The Ronin informs The Sympathizer that they have found his shoes. The Sympathizer realizes that the Mona Lisa was wearing his shoes while torturing him, and that the tracking device the Ronin used to find The Sympathizer in the basement was located in the shoes. Le Cao Boi is excited to find and kill the Mona Lisa, and pours shots of liquor, which The Sympathizer struggles to swallow.
