Clover’s Apartment Complex
Clover’s apartment complex is where she spends much of her time when not working and is a representation of her preference for solitude. Over time, however, the apartment becomes a springboard for the rest of Clover’s life. It is here that Leo encourages her to live a beautiful life and where she is able to give him the peaceful death she never gave her grandpa. The complex is also where Clover developed her first real friendship with Sylvie, giving her the courage to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. At the end, Clover temporarily leaves her apartment behind to pursue her love of travel. It continues to represent her past and her memories, but it is no longer the source of her loneliness.
