Chapter 11 Summary
Borlu and Corwi go to question Khurusch about why he didn't tell them about his double entry pass. They get him to admit that he left it in his van, which is illegal, and that the thief that stole his van also got his pass. Borlu pulls Corwi aside. He tells her he's going to take Khurusch in to try to get him to tell the truth. In the meantime, he wants her to find out all of the vans that were stolen on the same night as Khurusch's van was.
At two in the morning, Corwi and Borlu meet again. Corwi says out of the thirteen vans stolen, three had passes to go back and forth across the border. Two of the vans showed up the next morning dumped. All three, including Khurusch's had previous violations for keeping their passes inside the...
