Waknuk
Waknuk is a highly puritanical community set in Labrador after a nuclear fallout. Although Waknuk used to be on the frontier of the Badlands, it has become much more secure over the past few decades, insinuating that the radioactivity is falling off and nature is reclaiming the earth. Waknuk is characterized by extreme piety and intolerance for the other. The people in the rural town resemble the Puritans in the 17th century, who also fancied themselves closer to God than other people. Although Waknuk considers itself the epitome of creation, they are another example of a self-important and arrogant community who feel superior to others based on arbitrary grounds.
Fringes
