Chapter 4 Summary

Lyric asks if Cameryn watched "Shadow of Death" last night, knowing Cameryn is lying when she claims she forgot. She tells Cameryn about how Dr. Jewel was visited by a girl's spirit who told him her body is on a dirt road in the mountains and she is the fourth victim of the Christopher Killer, a psychotic serial killer who leaves St. Christopher medals on the bodies of his victims. Cameryn is skeptical. As they drive through town, they notice Adam, a strange new kid who is rumored to be a Satan-worshipper. Lyric suggests giving him a ride for the sake of good karma, and though Cameryn objects, she slows down and offers Adam a ride. Once Adam gets in Cameryn's car, he and Lyric begin talking, and Adam mentions his fascination with the occult. As they begin talking about last night's "Shadow...
