Summary

Chapter 46: "Power's Plan" opens as the doors are locked and Power shouts about how he and his owner used to rule a country, but they were overthrown when a brave boy convinced others to rebel. Now, to get more power in the Land of the Lost, he is going to give Jack and the Christmas Pig to the Loser. Ambition says they have to vote on it and explains to the others what the Loser might give them if they agree, including the option to keep out Things that do not meet their standards like Poem and Pretense. Beauty agrees, but Memory and Optimism vote no. Principles considers this as Happiness enters.

In Chapter 47: "The Last Two Guests," Hope and Happiness enter and Ambition reluctantly tells them Jack's story. Power reveals that DP was destroyed on the road...
