Summary

Chapter 33: "The Story of the Blue Bunny" continues as the group runs across the Waste as the Bunny wonders why Jack is in the Wastes. Blue Bunny explains that his owner won him instead of a football and he was lost when a friend threw him out of the window. He was stuck between worlds until the boy remembered he was lost but did not look for him. Jack thinks the Blue Bunny will be found, but the bunny says his body is in the garden and his family is gone for Christmas. Suddenly, Compass screams that the Bad Habits are coming.
