Summary

Part Four: "Bother-It's-Gone" shows a drawing of homes on a snowy mountaintop. In Chapter 25: "Bother-It's-Gone," the Christmas Pig thanks Lunchy as he and Jack escape from the carts undetected. From the mountaintop, they see the Wastes below as they sneak into the town. Jack is hopeful that DP would be living in the cozy gingerbread houses as Things must be valued here. They overhear an address book telling a chess piece to join her on a tour as she leaves. When Jack asks, the chess piece says that he has not seen DP and rushes away.
