Chapters 34 and 35 Summary
The next morning, Bettina wakes up and goes to the dean's office. She uses the phone to make her taxi reservations and flight arrangements. Then, she calls the Ryder school to find out who the medallion belongs to so she can figure out who her father is.
Bettina is at the aparthouse having dinner with Babs. She doesn't tell Babs she knows who her father is. Babs gives Bettina a project of putting her matchbooks together so she can create a book. Later, Bettina overhears Babs talking bad about her on the phone. Bettina dumps the three bags full of matchbooks over the balcony.
