Summary
In Chapter 26: "Surprise," Shelley is shocked to see a rich-looking Deng with Shelley’s father acting just like him. Deng says Shelley's father is working for him and seems to know the truth about Shelley’s time in America. When Shelley’s father shows the list of Shelley’s achievables - Family, love, and fortune- Shelley feels he has failed two, but that the app can make him rich. So, he does not tell his father anything, but wants to speak to him alone. Ted feels Deng is up to something, but is struggling with his relationship with Henry. Both realize Aviva was right and that they need to talk to their fathers, but they cannot find them.
