Summary

In Chapter 19: "Busted," Kate and Orit prepare to leave with Leo. While Orit is confident he will adjust, Shelley is worried as Leo is not speaking to anyone.

The days go by and Aviva and Ted's house feels empty. Everyone misses Leo, and Shelley realizes he is thinking about his mother. Aviva is confident that Leo will remember Shelley's stores. Shelley realizes Aviva understands the ever presence of grief better than everyone else.

Fall semester starts and Shelley's grades improve as he helps with TinRoad. Shelley tells the reader that he is more sensible than he was, but thinks wisdom comes and goes.
