Chapter 3, A Matter of Energy Summary
Wilson and the narrator leave in Wil's jeep first thing the next morning and make their way through the Andes to a place called Viciente Lodge, a resort whose guests are mostly those attending scientific conferences and where the manuscript is studied. The Lodge is a beautiful place with a virgin forest just behind the main building. When they arrive Wil suggests that the narrator take a walk while he arranges rooms for them. The narrator strolls along a path behind the building and meets a woman named Sarah Lorner.
