Summary

The chapter begins with Craig pleading guilty to “fraud” (194). What basically happened was that he failed to raise doubts he had about whether a painting was a forgery before he sold it. The night he decides to plead guilty, he calls Marielle. Apparently, he has seen the Jordans a few times and Naomi once in the couple years since they were in Mexico, but not Marielle at all.

After Craig is fired, the friends all show up to surprise him. Marielle tells him that she triggered the funeral pact on his behalf, and they demand that they hold it at his apartment. Back there, Craig steps onto the fire escape to get away from everyone, and Jordan talks to him about his interrogation and future prison time. Jordan tells Craig about how he and Jordy got...
