Summary
At the start of the chapter, the five friends are eating at a restaurant shortly after Alec’s death. They are bickering among themselves. Jordan is yearning to be alone with Jordy; their relationship has just begun mere days before. The rest of them talk about how they were the only ones to know the real Alec, or at least so they think.
Marielle was evidently the one to find Alec’s body on the floor of the student lounge in their dorm. Jordy, who was Alec’s roommate, comes over and tries to perform CPR. He suspects that Alec may have overdosed; he had a history of using harder drugs. Jordan is the one to pull Jordy off of Alec when it is clear his attempts are not working.
