End Of An Investigation Summary
Lije needs to talk quickly if he wants to complete the investigation in an hour, and they still have to view the film of the murder scene. Enderby is humorously waiting to hear Lije's newest accusation about the murderer. This time Lije is careful to not give too much away and slowly starts working his way from who knows he was at the power plant to how Clousarr knows Jessie's full name. She gave up that name long before she joined the conspiracy group. Enderby becomes flushed, admitting he must have used Jezebel when talking to Clousarr, and filled it in automatically. He thinks it outlandish that Lije is suggesting he lied about Clousarr, but Lije keeps going. The Commissioner was missing at lunch for two hours, when he could have been at the Williamsburg power plant...
