Elcidation By A Spider Summary
Enderby is no longer on the trimensional and Lije wakes up, vaguely recalling the recent events. Lije knows Enderby will be furious with his behavior. Dr. Fastolfe suggests Lije sit down and view some book-films of the crime scene. Lije is a little shocked that the doctor is keeping him on the case. Apparently Lije's behavior and obvious dislike of robots and Spacers intrigue Dr. Fastolfe. The Spacers have no natural antibodies necessary to fight off given diseases. Lije questions if Enderby knows this is why Spacers are so distant from the City dwellers. Fastolfe has never told Enderby and fears the general public think Spacers are afraid of Earthmen, which is the primary reason Dr. Sarton began his project with humanoid robots.
