Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. is the city in which Ellie lives in the narrative present. After graduating from college, she moves to Washington and takes a job with the online news journal Apogee. She lives in a community living setup called 1938 House with Mallory, Aidan, Nick, and Katherine. Her life in Washington is evidence that Ellie has finally entered the adult world.
