Chapter 27 Summary

Carrie wakes up the morning after she catches Lali and Sebastian kissing, hoping it was just a bad dream or a mistake. When she calls Lali, she tells Carrie that Sebastian needs her and that she loves him. Lali and Sebastian skip school and when Maggie drives Carrie by Sebastian's house, Lali's truck and Sebastian's corvette are in the driveway. The second day of school after the incident, Carrie goes to the barn before school to smoke a cigarette to find Walt there with Lali and Sebastian. Sebastian holds Lali's hand and Carrie and Walt walk away. Walt tells Carrie she has to seek revenge.
