Chapter 13 Summary

Carries tries to lie low for a few days. On the third day, Walt finds Carrie in the stacks of the library. He says Maggie needs her and that she's hiding in the girl's bathroom. Maggie is crying and tells Carrie she needs her to go with her to get birth control. Maggie admits that she had sex with Peter right after they went to The Emerald when she was still dating Walt.

Carrie and Maggie go the doctor's office in the next town over. They are in a bad area of town. When the girls find the office, they have to knock loudly on the door.
