Chapter 12 Summary

At school, Maggie tells Carrie she's mad at her for not telling her about Sebastian. When Carrie walks into the auditorium for assembly, she finds Donna LaDonna is her assigned seat and Sebastian nowhere to be found. Donna is talking to Cynthia's boyfriend, Tommy, about Carrie trying to steal Sebastian and how Sebastian called her last night to tell Donna what a "something" Carrie is. Carrie threatens to sit on Donna if she doesn't get out of her seat.

After assembly, Sebastian comes up behind Carrie. She tells him about the incident with Donna. He seems unfazed and asks Carrie to skip swim practice so they can go somewhere together. Later, at the barn, Maggie is still mad at Carrie. Maggie and Walt have the same relationship, even though they've been broken up for two days and Maggie is now dating Peter.
