Chapter 7 Summary

A teacher, Ms. Givens, catches Carrie with a paint can and asks her what she's planning to do with it. Carrie lies and says it's for one of her father's projects—he's a scientist. The paint is really to paint the graduation year on the roof of the dairy barn. Carrie runs around the barn and finds Sebastian Kydd standing there when she makes it back around.

That night, Lali picks up Carrie in her truck to drive to the barn. Sebastian Kydd pulls up behind them. When he asks if they need help, Carrie says no and Lali says yes. The Mouse, Maggie, Walt, and Peter show up. Carrie climbs up the ladder and Sebastian climbs behind her with the can of red paint and the brush.
