Point of View
The novel is written from a range of varying points of view. With each new chapter the narrative vantage point changes. This unconventional formal technique enacts the author’s explorations concerning the collective versus the individual consciousness and the interconnectedness of all human lives. The opening chapter “The Affinity Charm” is written from a third person limited point of view tracing Bix’s vantage point.
