Andrew Everton

Andrew Everton is the chief constable of the Kent police. He turns out to be the mastermind behind the tax fraud scheme. Andrew came up with the idea for the fraud when he was considering the plot for a new novel. He decided instead of writing about the scam to put it into action.

Andrew blackmailed both Jack and Heather to keep quiet about his role in the scam. He told them he had killed Bethany and buried her body on Heather’s property. He said he buried the gun used to kill Bethany, which was covered with Heather’s fingerprints, near the body.
