Summary

In Chapter 44, after Donna’s first appearance on South East Tonight, Carwyn asks Donna to go out with him for a drink. She declines.

In Chapter 45, The Viking studies the photo of Viktor’s body and wonders if it has been faked. To make sure, he visits Viktor’s apartment. He determines the only bullet hole in the bathroom where Elizabeth supposedly shot Viktor is in the ceiling.

Chapter 46 is an entry from Joyce’s journal. She writes that she has persuaded Elizabeth to go with her to a taping of Stop the Clock, Fiona’s game show.

Joyce also writes that she is reading one of Andrew’s novels. It is about a gangland boss named Big Mick.
