Chapter Five (Ben) Summary

Ben Moi was the most popular guy at summer camp, and Ruby desperately wanted him to notice her. He never did. Ben Moi had a lot of girlfriends, but Ruby was never one of them. In a way, Ruby lives out her Ben Moi fantasy by dating Jackson, another guy who's had a lot of girlfriends. Ruby couldn't believe that popular Jackson had a crush on her, and she also couldn't believe how comfortable she felt around him. She didn't have to wear make-up and high heels every time they went out, and she enjoyed his company eating at home just as much as she did at a restaurant.
