Courage

Courage is one of the biggest themes in this book. Of those that exhibit courage, they do so in different ways. This is not only indicative of the time in which The Boy Who Dared takes place, but also a recurring theme throughout history. There are different factors that can determine if/when one might demonstrate courage when faced with adversity or oppression. Some may perceive that they don't have the appropriate tools or support.
