Book 2 Chapter 20 Summary
Two men wait in the back of a limousine outside of the Treadstone brownstone in New York. One is Alfred Gillette, the CIA man, the other is an Eastern European man who works for Carlos. Gillette is talking to the European man about his work. He is very bitter and angry about his position. His is angry about the way he is treated. He feels that his superiors are elites and view his merely as part of the staff. He especially hates Abbott for his supreme arrogance. Cain has had Abbott followed and has discovered Treadstone Seventy-One. He has also uncovered the operation with Bourne. He knows that Bourne is Cain and Cain is all a ruse to find Carlos.
