Book 2 Chapter 18 Summary
St. Jacques is in the hotel waiting for Bourne to return. She is concerned about the warning she received to fly back to Canada immediately. She cannot do it, as she loves Bourne too much. She is worried that has been gone for hours. She is relieved when he finally he returns. Bourne is planning on leaving St. Jacques soon and lies to her about his meeting. He tells her he learned nothing useful at Les Classiques. However, he has plans to meet a man from there, which is a cover story so he can leave her. They make plans to go out to dinner after retrieving the case of money from the hotel vault. While St. Jacques is in the bathroom, Bourne writes her a goodbye note and puts it in his pocket.
