Sasquatch Tooth
The Sasquatch tooth has meaning to several different characters. For James, it was a way of giving his son a unique trinket. This was a big deal for James, since at the time he and the rest of Will’s family were struggling for money, so gifts were quite rare for Will. To top it off, James had also been away for three years, meaning he was missing birthdays, holidays, and other gift giving events. For Will it has a similar meaning, representing the fact that his father does care about him, even if he has been away for so long. For Maren, it represents her connection to Will. She carries the tooth for three years, despite having no idea if she would ever even see Will again or not.
