Summary
Chapter Fifteen
Will begins to paint Mr. Dorian’s portrait, something that he has always struggled with. He can’t quite get the portrait right, but Mr. Dorian and Maren encourage him. Will begins to truly see Mr. Dorian for the man that he is, which inspires him to create a quality portrait. Despite finishing the portrait, Mr. Dorian still dies, realizing that he must have been tricked about the canvas. Brogan and his one remaining man use explosives to separate the train, planning on stealing the funeral car for themselves. Will panics because his father is still on that part of the train. He and Maren tightrope walk across using her trusty wire. Will manages to disarm Brogan. The train drives into an avalanche, sending everyone scattering. Will and the others work together to free themselves from the snow. Brogan is killed...
