Knight’s Bookstore

Knight’s is a bookstore in Larchmont Boulevard where Nina works with Liz and Polly. Because it is a traditional bookstore, it is struggling with sales and the landlord, Mr. Meffo, believes it is going out of business. However, this is one of Nina’s favorite spots, and the location of a variety of book clubs (mostly run by Nina) and eventually becomes a place for everyone to get together. At the end of the novel just before Mr. Meffo sells the store to someone else, Nina offers to buy it, and it is implied that there is a grand reopening in the future after her impromptu trip to Mexico.
