Summary
The seventh chapter is titled “Land/Egypt.” Excavation of the interior burial chamber of the tomb is delayed. Someone provides new clothes for Dawn. Wyatt announces his plans for entering the chamber, including that Dawn will go in first, at his side. He justifies it, saying she may be the only one among them small enough to navigate the tight spaces but she can tell Joe and Alberto are not happy with it. They talk about dying and Dawn says those on their death beds only regret the things they did not do during life. As the conversation goes on, Wyatt apparently believes that regrets are more powerful than accomplishments. That night, Dawn calls Brian from a new cell phone that includes international calling.
