Summary
In "Sepphoris 16 - 17 CE," Ana visited Tabitha. Tabitha was lying unresponsive on a mat, a gold bowl filled with blood next to her. Ana realized her tongue had been cut out, and the bowl was from the palace. In Tabitha’s father’s study, Ana found the other stolen bowls, and hurled the bloody receptacle at the wall. Upon her return to the cave, Ana was disappointed Jesus was not there.
Judas secretly returned to meet with Ana. He explained his revolutionary work against the Romans who had occupied their land for 77 years, killed his father and enslaved his mother. He warned Ana of Nathaniel's wickedness, explaining the truth of his contract with Matthias. Judas promised to "give Nathaniel a reason to end the betrothal" (106).
