Summary

In Chapter 57, Annabelle had a “sprained wrist” and “broken ankle” (393). She was thankful for No-Good’s help, but doubted his intentions. While convalescing at home, she thanked the crows for saving her.

In Chapter 58, Annabelle emailed Aikon, describing her troubles at home, her experience with Tidy Magic, and her encounter with the crows.

In Chapter 59, Benny learned to cope with school by imagining himself as a “fly on the wall” (398). He thought about the voices as words breaking apart. He felt that the words wanted to get out of him. At home later, he poked holes in his arm to release them.

In Chapter 60, over dinner, Annabelle and Benny talked about objects and what they wanted. Aikon had taught Annabelle that objects felt happy when they were organized.
