Summary

In Chapter 21: "The Enchanted Island," Alice, Malcolm, and Lyra make their escape to an island where a lady named Diania feeds them. Alice and Malcolm are using the pseudonyms Sandra and Richard again to avoid detection. Malcolm opens the bag he stole from Gerard and finds a bunch of papers about the Rusakov field there written by him as well as the sixth missing alethiometer in a special box. That night, Alice wakes up Malcolm and tells him they need to leave soon, worried that Diania is trying to steal Lyra away from them like a fairy would. Malcolm shows Alice the alethiometer and hides it in the rucksack while placing a decoy stone in the special box. Diania is indeed a fairy and does indeed want to keep Lyra and make her a princess of Albion but Malcolm convinces her to give...
