Summary
35: Five months into this project, Ross has started stacking up delights to write about later. While stacking delights is lovely, it prevents him from the daily awareness of delight he wants to cultivate when writing these essays. He lists off many of his stacked delights to clear his docket. These include everything from favorite songs to Gold Rush apples.
36: This essay is about the song "For All We Know" which makes Ross realize that "your voice is the song of your disappearing" (111).
37: Ross is listening to music and feeling a bit anxious at the airport when he notices one woman adjust the collar of another which he sees as an act of love.
38: Ross is delighted by a flight attendant who calls him "baby" as well as other people who use terms of endearment in everyday interactions.
