Flux

“Flux” is a dangerous substance that was injected into Paige when she tried to escape from the Scion soldiers. It never goes away through a natural process and can only be made ineffective with an antidote.

Mollisher

Paige is a mollisher – a young clairvoyant, like an apprentice, who is working under a mime-lord. Sometimes they are referred to as “molls” (like gun molls) and can mean that they are the lovers of the mime-lords.

Aether

The aether is the spirit realm which can be accessed by the voyants. It is sometimes referred to as the Source.
