Summary

“The Wedding Bash, 2004,” opens with a chapter titled April 16. Holly and her family are gathered for Sharon's wedding to Pete Webber. Holly's brother Brendan is there along with her parents, Kath and Dave. Holly's partner and the father of her child, Ed Brubeck, is also present. Ed is a journalist working as a foreign correspondent though he has promised Holly he's going to give it up in order to remain nearer their daughter, Aoife. However, he knows he's addicted to the thrill of being in the middle of the action.
