Summary

In Chapter 25, Berg's headaches return and he knows he had another concussion. He tells Garrett he is going to report the incident. Garrett insists on talking to Mangini himself. Mangini then calls Berg and tells him to take time off, but blames him for what happened on the charter. Berg is angry that Garrett twisted the story. When he goes back to work his headaches are just as bad. In the middle of a project, Alejandro notices how poorly Berg is doing, and insists on taking him outside. They sit on a log, and Alejandro teaches him the Buddhist practice of meditation. Berg feels incapable of doing it, but soon finds it working.
