Chapter 47

Will whistles, which disables his dogheaded henchmen while Nico dispatches them off to Hades. It doesn’t seem to phase Octavian though because he tries to get Nico to switch camps and join them instead. At Nico’s blatant refusal Octavian orders the onagers to fire at Camp Half-blood and raze it to the ground. It does not have the intended effect, as they were previously sabotaged and take out each other instead. It is then that Nico tells the Legions that Reyna has ordered them to stand down. Octavian sees his grip on power sliding away, and just as he's about to be taken away and the uprising subdued, Clarisse from Camp Half-Blood appears on the horizon with all of the the camp's warriors ready for battle.
